It is now November and we are in the 7th month of the coronavirus pandemic. Crazy, right? Be that as it may, many people have already began to go back to their normally scheduled programming, including sending their children back to daycare and school.
We are glad to be back with all of our Little Learners and we are doing our part to ensure that the safety of our staff and students are the top priority. With that being said, we want to remind everyone of the safety guidelines mandated by the CDC.
Guidelines Adapted from the CDC:
- Wash hands often with soap and water. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
- Cover cough and sneezes.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a mask (Also be sure to wash your child’s face mask frequently if you have purchased a reusable one.)
We understand that wearing a mask for hours at a time may be an uncomfortable and tedious responsibility for children. For some help, check out our blog Battle of the Mask, that features helpful tips to encourage your students to wear their mask.
Little Learners Academy are following these guidelines and it would be very helpful for our staff if all of our parents are able to encourage their Little Learners to follow these steps at home as well.
We appreciate you trusting Little Learners Academy for your child’s safety and wellbeing.
